We are situated on the banks of the Orange River in Noordoewer, Namibia, and host a number of guided rafting and canoeing trips throughout the year. Our trips take place on a carefully selected section of the river, making it suitable for everybody – even those with no prior paddling experience. We have been hosting trips on the river for years, and we guarantee that you will have the best, heart-racing, adrenaline-pumping experience.
Noordoewer can be found just across the border between Namibia and South Africa, mid-way between Windhoek and Cape Town. We urge everyone to join us at our beautiful River Camp where you can escape from your daily stress and take in the gorgeous natural landscapes of the Richtersveld.

What we offer
The Orange River rafting packages available from Amanzi Trails vary in length. Clients can choose between the following:
- 3 1/2 -days and 4 nights on the river (one night at the Amanzi River Camp included)
- 4-days and 5 nights on the river (one night at the Amanzi River Camp included)
All packages are fully inclusive. Clients will receive all meals for the duration of their trip, from dinner on their first day and breakfast on the day that they depart. We also provide tea and coffee throughout the trip and we ask that clients bring their own drinking water and other drinks along. At our River Camp, clients will be able to buy some soft- and hard drinks.
We have a set list of trip dates available on our website. If you would prefer a customised trip, on a different date, or longer in duration, you are welcome to get in touch with us to discuss your wishes. We can arrange different trip dates, given that you are a large group of people.
